Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. (LEHMQ) shares increased 48.72% with 11.8 million shares changing hands. Rumors are that Lehman Brothers has proposed to settle many of its outstanding derivative transactions which could make it easier for it to emerge from bankruptcy.
